As we work as a community to prepare for the impact of COVID-19, we wanted to share how Hayston Development and Planning Ltd is addressing the current situation. The health and safety of our employees, customers, and community is our primary concern. There are a number of measures Hayston are taking to ensure we manage to safely get through this ‘changing’ and ‘challenging’ situation while continuing to serve our clients and partners effectively.

Hayston are fortunate that the nature of our business means that we can continue to operate during this challenging time. However, in line with Government advice we ‘need to impose physical distance between ourselves’ and ‘shield vulnerable groups’. As such we will be implementing the following measures:

  • Any discussions on new or existing projects will be undertaken via phone / webcam / email. Only face to face meetings will take place where there is a small number of people and physical distance can be created.
  • All site visits will be reviewed, especially those that involve entering inhabited properties.

Although Hayston may be fortunate to continue to operate we acknowledge that most statutory organisations will be also affected (i.e. Local Planning Authorities, Building Control, Natural Resources Wales etc) and as such we anticipate there will be delays in the processing of applications. Any advice we are given by this statutory organisations we will of course pass onto our affected clients and partners.
